Every repair in MyRepairShop starts as a job sheet. To create one, go to Repair → Add job sheet.
- Select the Business Location (if you have more than one)
- Search for the Customer, or leave it as "Walk-In Customer" and add their details later
- Choose the Service type: Carry in, Pick up, or On site
- Select the Brand, Device (Smartphone or Feature Phone), and Device Model
- Fill in the Serial Number, and note the Password/Pattern Lock if the customer shares it
- Describe the Problem Reported By The Customer and the current Condition Of The Product
- Set an Estimated Cost and Due Date
- Choose a Status (Received, In Progress, Complete, Failed, or Delivered)
You can also turn on Send notification via SMS, Email, or WhatsApp so the customer is notified automatically as the status changes.
When you're done, choose Save, Save and add parts (if you're using spare parts from inventory on this repair), or Save and upload docs (to attach photos or documents — up to 5MB, PDF/CSV/ZIP/DOC/DOCX/JPEG/JPG/PNG).
A job sheet number is generated automatically — this is the number your customer will use to track their repair status online.
